The New Way to Watch Your Weight

Twenty years ago we were all counting calories, and then came the F Plan and we were all filling up on fibre, eventually we were told to eat a low fat diet and start counting out fat grams! Count this, count that and count the other, it all seems so unreasonable!

Today we are a lot more clued up about nutrition we know that all types of food play a part in the health of our mind and bodies, even the fat grams. We also know that it is a proven fact the only way to lose weight is to consume fewer calories.

Dietitian's are buzzing with the phrase 'Portion Control'it is the new way to loose weight and it is done with will power (as usual) and the aid of an every day dinner plate with a difference. The plate is calibrated and mathematical, instead of piling your plate high according to the rumble in your tummy, your eye simply checks the food against the calibrations, determination, trust and a desire to be slim kick in. The plate is still piled high but with fresh vegetables or salad and with a dietary measure of calorie laden choices. A simple idea, that gives you back control. Products consist of a calibrated breakfast bowl for cereal lover's, A male and female version, and new to be launched this February, a child friendly plate with the calibrations cleverly hidden by the design on the plate, so only the parent will know where the boundaries are.
